E106 Wired Sensor LED Patterns

Last updated: August 10, 2026

The VergeSense E106 wired area sensor contains an LED next to the soft reset button on the side of the sensor. The LED is intended to provide an indication of the sensor's status during initialization. During normal operation, the LED will be turned off and the sensor's status should be visible in the VergeSense dashboards. Below is a guide to the LED patterns and their meanings.

Boot Sequence LED Patterns

See the legend below for the table's background color meanings:

Color State Pattern
Cycle through red, green, and blue Initial power and system initialization (approximately 30 seconds) Approximately 0.5 seconds on each color.
Green System initialized Solid on

Applying Network Configuration LED Patterns

If a network configuration is to be applied to the sensor via the USB port, the LED will exhibit the following behavior upon insertion of the USB stick.

Note: Ensure the sensor has fully booted before inserting the USB stick. The sensor is considered fully booted once it reaches the Searching for Network address state or any later state listed in the table above.
